Since the launch of our action teams in October, we’ve surveyed high school students to learn about their perceptions of manufacturing sector, hosted multiple focus groups with employers and learners to gain valuable insights on workforce training needs, and explored best practices for student engagement, employer collaboration, work-based learning, and fast-track certification programs. We gathered all four teams on December 5th for a half-day session to share initial findings and map out priorities for the coming months.
