Executive Committee
Our 30 Executive Committee members are key private, public and civic leaders, representing geographic, demographic and sectors of our community. They work with the Backbone team to co-design the initiation and execution of the planning processes; engage diverse stakeholders; provide structure, guidance, and substantive expertise throughout the strategy creation process; provide regular feedback and direction; serve as a neutral interest to help resolve issues; and who are expected to make commitments toward an investment agenda and business plan execution.

Backbone Team
The Backbone Team is a partnership between Stanislaus County and Stanislaus Community Foundation, including key staff and consultants who lead the efforts to execute the project work plan. The team provides support including project management, research & analysis, community engagement, marketing & communications, and stakeholder management. The advisors and consultants bring local and national expertise to the project in the areas of project management and facilitation, economic research & analysis, community engagement, stakeholder management and marketing & communications.
